Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef 80/20
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium green pepper (chopped)
  • 15 ounces tomatoes, diced (canned)
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons basil (dried)
  • 2 teaspoons oregano (dried)
  • 1 cup beef chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 ea garlic clove
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 16 ounces spaghetti
Instructions
  1. Cook spaghetti as directed on package or to your liking, drain and set aside.

    Cook and stir meat, onion and pepper until meat is almost brown and onion is tender.Drain and return to pan.

  2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and let simmer 30 - 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

  3. Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.
